About
After a disastrous blind date that leaves both parties wishing they had never met, recently divorced mother Lauren and widowed father Jim find their lives crossing paths again in the most unexpected way. Hoping to provide their respective children with a much-needed getaway, both families unknowingly book the exact same vacation package at a luxurious South African resort during spring break. Upon arrival, the two families are horrified to discover they are not only staying at the same property but are also forced to share the same romantic suite. This clash of personalities and parenting styles turns what was intended to be a relaxing retreat into an awkward and often chaotic adventure. Surrounded by the breathtaking landscape of the African savanna, the two families must learn to navigate their forced proximity as they participate in a series of group excursions and resort activities. As the days progress, the constant friction between Jim and Lauren evolves into a complex tug-of-war, testing their patience and their preconceived notions about one another. Amidst the unfamiliar wildlife and the pressure of maintaining a peaceful environment for their children, they are pushed to confront their own personal baggage and the possibility that this chaotic coincidence might be the catalyst for a life-changing connection neither of them anticipated.
