Jack Dwyer, an American businessman, relocates his wife, Annie, and their two young daughters to a quiet country in Southeast Asia for a fresh start. Shortly after their arrival, the family is thrust into a terrifying nightmare when a violent political coup erupts overnight. The city is suddenly plunged into chaos as armed rebels overtake the government, and the Dwyers quickly discover that they are being targeted specifically as foreigners. With communication lines severed and the streets transformed into a lethal war zone, the family finds themselves stranded in a hostile environment where survival depends on constant movement and desperate decision-making.
