Their American dream is bigger than yours.
About
Set against the neon-soaked, high-octane backdrop of 1990s Miami, this darkly comedic crime caper follows Daniel Lugo, an ambitious and perpetually dissatisfied manager of the local Sun Gym. Convinced that the American dream is reserved for those willing to take what they want, Lugo orchestrates an audacious plan to kidnap a wealthy, arrogant client and extort his entire fortune. To pull off the job, he enlists the help of two fellow gym rats, Paul Doyle and Adrian Doorbal, a pair of dim-witted bodybuilders who prove to be as unpredictable as they are physically imposing. What begins as a meticulously planned heist quickly devolves into a series of amateurish blunders and increasingly chaotic violence as the trio attempts to force their victim to sign over his assets. As the conspirators navigate the treacherous waters of their newfound criminal enterprise, they find themselves caught in a web of their own making, struggling to maintain their composure while dealing with a target who refuses to simply disappear. The tension escalates as the lines between reality and their delusions of grandeur blur, forcing the group to confront the dangerous consequences of their reckless pursuit of the good life. Through a mix of misguided motivations and criminal ineptitude, the story explores the absurdity of greed and the terrifying lengths to which ordinary men will go when they become blinded by the promise of easy wealth and ultimate power.
