New Girl. New School. New Rules.
About
Sixteen-year-old Poppy Moore is a wealthy, pampered socialite from Malibu who believes that money and attitude can solve any problem. After a series of increasingly reckless stunts pushes her father to his breaking point, he delivers a harsh ultimatum and ships her off to a rigid, traditional boarding school in the English countryside. Stripped of her luxuries and forced to conform to a strict code of conduct, Poppy finds herself in a completely alien environment governed by a formidable headmistress and populated by a group of girls who have little patience for her spoiled behavior. As she struggles to navigate the unfamiliar social hierarchy of the school, Poppy must contend with the realization that her old ways of manipulation and entitlement no longer carry any weight. The story follows her difficult transition as she clashes with her peers, grapples with the limitations of her new life, and eventually begins to reconsider the values she has lived by. The central conflict forces Poppy to look inward, as the stark reality of her exile challenges her to transform her selfish nature into something more resilient, ultimately testing whether she has the character to survive and perhaps even thrive in an environment where popularity is not bought, but earned.
