Love. Pain. Glory.
About
In the gritty, neon-lit underbelly of the independent professional wrestling circuit, Randy The Ram Robinson clings to the fading remnants of his 1980s glory days. Though his body is battered by decades of choreographed violence and his celebrity has dwindled to a series of low-rent appearances in high school gymnasiums and community centers, he remains deeply tethered to the adrenaline and adoration of his dwindling fan base. When a harrowing physical collapse forces him to step away from the sport permanently, Randy is thrust into the unfamiliar reality of a quiet, ordinary existence. He begins to navigate the fragile complexities of life outside the ropes, attempting to forge a genuine connection with an aging exotic dancer who shares his sense of isolation and seeking to mend the fractured relationship with his estranged daughter. However, as the harsh realities of his damaged health and financial instability mount, the magnetic pull of the ring grows increasingly difficult to ignore. Caught between the desire for emotional redemption and the desperate need to reclaim his identity as an icon, Randy finds himself at a crossroad where the line between his performative persona and his true self begins to blur, leaving him to weigh the cost of one final performance against the possibility of a life reclaimed.
