About
In Cellular, a young man going about his day suddenly receives an emergency call on his cell phone from an older woman who insists she has been kidnapped. Her voice is urgent and specific, and she warns him that the threat is not limited to her alone: her kidnappers have her sights set on the people closest to her next, including her husband and child. With no way to physically intervene and little time to trust what he’s hearing, the caller and the terrified family on the other end of the line are forced into a race against the clock. As the young man tries to piece together where the woman is and what the criminals are planning, the situation escalates from a frantic phone call into a tense, high-stakes struggle for safety, forcing him to take risks and make crucial decisions in real time.
