In Fright Night, 17-year-old Charley Brewster is still trying to get comfortable in his new neighborhood when a mysterious, charming young neighbor moves in next door. Something feels off from the start, and as Charley notices unsettling signs that don’t quite fit normal human behavior, he becomes convinced that his neighbor isn’t just strange, but something far more dangerous. The problem is that Charley can’t prove it to anyone who might take him seriously, leaving him isolated with only his suspicions and a growing sense of urgency. With nightfall bringing new threats and the situation escalating behind closed doors, Charley reaches out for help from Peter Vincent, a self-proclaimed “vampire hunter” and celebrity magician whose confidence may be as questionable as his methods, but whose knowledge could still be useful. As Charley and Peter try to uncover the truth and keep danger from reaching their community, the conflict sharpens into a race against time, where disbelief, skepticism, and fear all collide with the possibility of real supernatural horror.
