The Jacket follows a military veteran who finds himself trapped in a strange medical-psychological setup after an accident that leaves him with a recurring, unsettling ability to glimpse his own death. As he struggles to understand what is happening to him, he becomes entangled in a future that doesn’t match his expectations, where time feels unstable and every new detail raises more questions than answers. Haunted by the events he believes he has seen, he searches for meaning in the past and in the people around him, determined to figure out what led him there and how it connects to the ones he cares about. Moving between the confines of the present and an unnerving forward-looking landscape, the film centers on the conflict between fate and choice, and whether foreknowledge can be used to prevent catastrophe rather than merely confirm it.
