Trapped and trying to escape a sense of being targeted, a woman seeks help for what she believes is a danger closing in around her. Instead of receiving the support she expects, she finds herself involuntarily committed to an isolated mental institution, where her days are structured by rules she cannot control and where her credibility is treated with suspicion. From the moment she arrives, the facility’s routines and the people tasked with overseeing her begin to feel less like care and more like confinement.
