Ten years after the first American Pie movie, American Pie Presents: The Book of Love follows three high school virgins in East Great Falls High who stumble upon a mysterious Bible-like book hidden in the school library. With their curiosity and determination taking over, they realize the ruined text holds incomplete, cryptic instructions about love and sex, and they decide to follow the advice as they try to figure out how to finally lose their virginity. As they interpret the damaged pages and chase leads across the school and its surrounding world, their plans spiral into a string of awkward missteps, embarrassing encounters, and increasingly complicated romantic detours. Guided by a source that doesn’t fully make sense and by their own inexperience, they must navigate the tension between what they think they’re doing and what actually happens when teenage romance collides with disastrous “guidance” from an unexpected book.
