His quest leads him to the grim, local folklore of the Candyman, a hook-handed figure said to appear to anyone daring enough to say his name five times into a mirror. What begins as a creative exploration of the area's troubled past soon spiraled into a dangerous obsession as Anthony unearths long-buried secrets that have haunted the community for generations. As he probes deeper into the legend, he inadvertently bridges the gap between the neighborhood's traumatic history and a burgeoning sense of dread that begins to permeate his own reality. With his sanity fraying and his artistic vision turning increasingly dark, Anthony must navigate a series of gruesome events that suggest the vengeful entity may be more than just a myth.
