When Vic Manning, a grizzled and relentless Los Angeles detective, undergoes intensive eye surgery, his vision is temporarily compromised just as he gets a lead on the ruthless heroin kingpin who murdered his partner. Desperate to continue the hunt, Vic calls for a ride-sharing service, unwittingly enlisting Stu Prasad, a mild-mannered and conflict-averse Uber driver struggling to maintain his five-star rating.
