The Worms have turned.
About
Following his brief and ultimately underwhelming experience as a local celebrity after the initial Graboid infestation in Perfection, Nevada, Earl Bassett finds himself struggling to maintain his relevance and finances. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is approached by representatives from a Mexican oil company facing a catastrophic problem at their remote drilling sites. The workers have uncovered a renewed threat buried deep beneath the arid desert floor, and they require Earl's unique expertise to handle the situation. Reluctantly stepping back into the role of a monster hunter, Earl heads south of the border, only to realize that the danger is far more pervasive and evolved than he originally anticipated. Tasked with neutralising the menace before it spreads, he finds himself navigating the treacherous, sun-scorched landscape of rural Mexico, where the ground itself hides an aggressive and hungry adversary. Forced to adapt to a changing battlefield and an enemy that seems to possess new, terrifying characteristics, Earl must rely on his survivalist instincts and his limited resources to contain the spreading terror before the local population becomes the next target for the subterranean predators.
