Something's wrong with Ben.
About
Lucy, a college student looking forward to a tranquil tropical getaway, invites her closest friends to join her at her family’s secluded estate nestled deep within the lush, remote landscape of Hawaii. The trip is intended to be a perfect retreat, made even more unique by the presence of Ben, Lucy’s pet chimpanzee who has been a part of her life for years. However, the idyllic atmosphere takes a terrifying turn when Ben is bitten by a wild, infected animal in the surrounding woods, causing him to contract a virulent strain of rabies. As the infection rapidly alters the primate's temperament, the playful animal transforms into a calculated and unpredictable predator. Cut off from the outside world by the estate's isolated location and failing communication lines, the group finds themselves trapped inside their own sanctuary. With night falling and no way to call for help, Lucy and her friends must band together to navigate the sprawling property, desperately attempting to outsmart and survive an adversary that possesses both human-like intelligence and a primal, unrelenting bloodlust. What began as a celebration of friendship quickly spirals into a harrowing struggle for survival against a threat that knows their home, their habits, and their weaknesses better than they know themselves.
