About
In the rugged frontier country of Old Henry, a widowed farmer lives a quiet but uneasy life with his young son, relying on hard work and caution to keep danger at bay. Their routine is shattered when they take in a mysterious stranger—an injured man carrying a satchel rumored to contain a fortune—who asks for shelter and time to recover. What begins as an act of necessity soon turns into a test of judgment as the homestead becomes the target of a hostile group of armed men who claim to represent the law and demand the money the stranger is said to have. As pressure mounts and trust becomes harder to measure, the farmer is forced to weigh fear against responsibility and protect his family in the face of escalating violence. Cornered in his own home, he must decide who to believe and how far he is willing to go to defend the lives under his roof, revealing strengths and instincts that neither he nor those around him expected.
