After years away in the army, Jack Spade returns to his old neighborhood and finds a community still ruled by fear and exploitation. When his brother June Bug dies, Jack is pushed into action and decides to take on Mr. Big, the powerful local crime boss who keeps the streets under his thumb. To do it, Jack gathers an unlikely crew and turns to John Slade, the charismatic action hero he admired as a kid, now called back from the days when he fought bad guys with style. What follows is a bold, comedic showdown as Jack sets out to challenge the neighborhood’s criminal empire and give his block a fighting chance.
