About
Small-time veteran pot dealer David Clark finds himself in a desperate predicament after a disastrous encounter leaves him deep in debt to his ruthless supplier. To wipe the slate clean and secure his safety, David is coerced into executing a high-stakes smuggling operation: transporting a massive shipment of marijuana across the border from Mexico into the United States. Recognizing that a lone traveler would immediately draw suspicion from law enforcement, he hatches a desperate plan to blend into the scenery by masquerading as a quintessential, wholesome American family on a summer road trip. He recruits his cynical neighbor, a struggling exotic dancer, and a naive local teenager to play the roles of his wife and children, christening themselves the Millers. The group hits the road in a massive, brightly colored recreational vehicle, embarking on a chaotic journey intended to provide the perfect cover for their illicit cargo. However, the plan quickly unravels as the dysfunctional, mismatched quartet struggles to maintain the ruse while navigating bizarre roadside encounters, dangerous criminal entities, and the inevitable friction of forced domesticity. As they inch closer to the border, the pressure mounts and the hilarity ensues, forcing the fake family to confront the reality that pulling off this logistical nightmare requires far more cooperation and convincing acting than any of them anticipated.
