
Dean Georgaris is an American writer and producer based in Los Angeles, California, recognized for crafting character-driven entertainment across blockbuster filmmaking and network television. He has written and developed major studio features including Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life, Paycheck, The Manchurian Candidate, and The Meg, as well as the sequel Meg 2: The Trench. His producer credits also span a wide range of genres, from high-stakes action with What Happens in Vegas and The Crazies to epic adventure with Life of Pi. On television, Georgaris is the creator and showrunner of NBC’s Bluff City Law and ABC’s The Baker and the Beauty, and he also created NBC’s The Brave, where his blend of sharp storytelling, accessible drama, and momentum-forward plots has helped define his distinctive screenwriting voice.
