This team is pure genius.

About

In this high-stakes procedural drama, Walter O’Brien, a man with one of the highest recorded IQs on the planet, assembles a specialized team of brilliant but socially awkward misfits to solve the most complex crises threatening global security. Operating as the clandestine think tank known as Scorpion, the group works under the direction of Homeland Security to address high-tech emergencies that traditional law enforcement and military forces are ill-equipped to handle. The team consists of Toby Curtis, a world-class behaviorist with an uncanny ability to read people; Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy who can fix or construct anything; and Sylvester Dodd, a human calculator whose mastery of statistics is unmatched. Together, they form a makeshift family that struggles as much with their own interpersonal dynamics and deep-seated social alienation as they do with the life-or-death missions they face. Reluctantly bridging the gap between their isolated world of pure intellect and the chaotic reality of the public sphere, they are joined by Paige Dineen, a waitress whose innate understanding of the human condition helps them navigate the complexities of daily life. As they race against the clock to neutralize cyber-terrorism, failing infrastructure, and sophisticated international threats, the team members must leverage their unique cognitive talents and rely on one another to survive in a world that rarely understands them. The central tension of the series lies in their constant fight to translate their extraordinary mental capabilities into practical actions, proving that while their minds are their greatest assets, their collective human connection remains their most vital tool for defense.
