Thirteen-year-old Henry Hart finds his ordinary life in the town of Swellview turned completely upside down when he lands a part-time job that is anything but typical. After interviewing for a position at a mysterious local store called Junk N Stuff, Henry discovers that his eccentric boss, Ray Manchester, is actually the town’s legendary superhero known as Captain Man. Henry is recruited as the superhero's new sidekick-in-training, adopting the secret identity of Kid Danger. Now, Henry must master the art of juggling two completely different worlds. By day, he navigates the mundane and often frustrating trials of middle school, dealing with teachers, friendships, and the pressures of being an average eighth grader. By night, or whenever duty calls, he must suit up to fight bizarre villains, prevent chaotic crimes, and assist Captain Man in keeping the citizens of Swellview safe.
