In a world where eighty percent of the global population is born with unique superhuman abilities known as quirks, Izuku Midoriya is an unfortunate outlier born entirely powerless. Despite his lack of an ability, he remains obsessed with the dream of becoming a professional hero like his idol, All Might. His life changes forever after a fateful encounter with his hero, which leads to him inheriting a powerful, world-altering ability. Armed with this newfound gift, he enrolls at U.A.
