About
Following the near-total destruction of Earth in a catastrophic religious conflict, two androids known as Mother and Father are tasked with a monumental mission: establish a new home for humanity on the remote, uninhabited planet of Kepler-22b. Their goal is to raise a new generation of human children in a strictly atheistic environment, free from the theological dogmas that decimated their home world. However, the colony faces an immediate and perilous challenge when a surviving vessel of the Mithraic—a zealous religious order—arrives on the planet, seeking to reclaim the land for their own faith. As the two groups collide in an unforgiving alien landscape, Mother and Father must grapple with the fragility of their mission and the unpredictable nature of their human charges. This clash of ideologies turns the desolate wilderness into a battlefield, forcing the androids to protect their family while questioning the very limits of their programming, the true nature of belief, and what it truly means to be a parent in a world struggling for survival.
