About
Lawyer Abigail Bianchi is trying to rebuild her life after a disastrous fall into alcoholism, and the consequences are immediate. Still under probation, she’s required to step back into the professional world in a setting she never wanted to revisit: her estranged father’s firm, Svensson and Associates. Abby must take on family law cases for the first time, even as she wrestles with the guilt, resentment, and fragile hope that come with returning to her father’s orbit. Complicating everything, she’s also forced to forge relationships with a half-brother and half-sister she’s never met, each carrying their own perspectives and loyalties. Within the walls of the firm—where clients arrive with custody battles, divorce complications, and emotional wreckage—Abby and her new family are forced to navigate both personal dysfunction and legal pressure, turning every case into a test of survival, responsibility, and the possibility of change.
