
Jason Moore (born October 22, 1970) is an American director who works across film, television, and theatre. He is widely recognized for shaping bright, music-forward comedies and character-driven ensemble stories, often blending physical humor with strong comedic pacing. Moore directed Shotgun Wedding (2022) and began building a distinct reputation in the Pitch Perfect series, where he directed Pitch Perfect (2012) and later returned in a producing capacity for Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) and Pitch Perfect 3 (2017). His film work extends into high-energy mainstream entertainment, and he has also maintained a presence in television and live theatre, drawing on stage experience to guide performances and ensemble dynamics. In Elle (2026), he continues to expand his producing role, bringing the same craft-focused approach to contemporary, dialogue-rich storytelling.
